This washed lot from Yunnan’s Lancang region shows just how far Chinese coffee has come. Expect layers of sweet orange, sugarcane, and toffee, lifted by delicate florals and a tea-like finish. With SL28 in the mix (yes, the same variety that made Kenyan coffees famous) and the rare K72, this cup carries both clarity and character.
About the Origin
This micro-lot comes from smallholder farmers in a Lahu village in Lancang, grown at high elevation and processed at the Yunnan Coffee Processing Station. In 2025, Phoenix Coffee Roastery traveled deep into Yunnan, visiting farms big and small, and hand-selecting coffees with local roasters and producers. This Pu’er washed lot is the result of those collaborations — a true showcase of Yunnan’s unique terroir and craftsmanship.

Just make sure to place your order by the last day of the previous month.
